A frequently asked question I receive when people find out my bathroom floor is painted is: “How do you clean it without damaging it?!” It’s simple! Using products free of harsh chemicals is the best way to preserve the protective sealant on top of the paint and ensure the floor can last as long as possible. Enter Grove Collaborative. Grove offers plant-based, sustainable products that are free of harmful chemicals, delivered straight to your door! Their starter kit (which is free to all new customers with purchase!) includes everything I need to clean the floors, so I’m excited to share my super simple process with you in hopes that it will encourage you to take the risk and paint the floor!
How to clean your painted floors with Grove:
Step 1: After vacuuming or sweeping, fill a glass spray bottle with one bottle of all-purpose cleaner concentrate. Fill the rest of the spray bottle up with water + shake!
Step 2: Starting in a corner, I spray about an arms length of cleaner and use the soft side of the walnut scrubber sponge to work on any problem areas.
Step 3: I then go over the wet area with a microfiber towel and voila!
